Attacking God

What is our country coming to? Attacks on God by secular-progressives, the ACLU, atheists, and other far left liberal groups have gone too far. This country was founded on Christian principles and beliefs and references can be found throughout the early history of our country. If you don’t or won’t believe this, just read these words from the Declaration of Independence:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
The founding fathers of our country read, agreed, and signed this document. They knew what the words “endowed by their Creator” meant. Webster’s Online Dictionary defines, Creator as a noun meaning, The Judeo-Christian God.
The sole purpose of the groups that I have mentioned above is to remove all reference to God and anything God like, however it can be construed, wherever it is found. Just yesterday, an atheist group filed a lawsuit to remove steel roadside crosses placed in remembrance of fallen Utah Highway Patrol officers…
American Atheists Inc. has filed a federal lawsuit, arguing that the 13 white, steel crosses represent the death of Jesus Christ and therefore violate the First Amendment to the Constitution, which prohibits government establishment of religion.

If you are not familiar with the First Amendment of the United States Constitution here is a snippet…
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
How is putting up crosses making a law respecting an establishment of religion? The crosses were not paid for by the state but from private contributions. The state didn’t put the crosses up the Utah Highway Patrol Association, a private organization, designed, constructed, and placed the memorials.
We, the God loving people of this country (whatever deity you believe in), need to step up and stop rolling over to the wishes of these “far left loons” or risk losing the principals under which this country was founded.
This atheists group must be a completely heartless bunch to attack the grieving families of these fallen officers. It is hateful and disgusting to me.
